Our Music School

Leigh Perry started Dorridge Music School (DMS) in 1985 and has built the school to where it is today and teaches 4 year olds to adults. Offering lessons for beginners to diploma level covering most instruments as well as musical theatre, music theory, band sessions, an adult choir 'DMS voices' a junior pop choir 'DMS Rocks' and the crotchet club (a music course designed for 4 year olds) as an introduction to music.

 

DMS also produces a concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall every 18 months, giving many students the fantastic opportunity to perform live at this prestigious venue.

I have been fortunate to be involved as a judge with school’s ‘Stars in their Eyes’ annual performing event and have invited the winner to perform live during my Solihull radio DJ slot. I look forward to this year’s event already!
